The NSW Waratahs are delighted to announce Resilience Insurance as their Principal Partner on a three-year deal that will see their logo emblazoned on the front of their jersey.

The new Partnership will commence in September and extend to the end of 2028.

Resilience Insurance is an industry leader as Australia’s first and only provider of Latent Defect Insurance, a product that has operated internationally in over forty countries and for more than seventy years.

The agreement between the NSW Waratahs and Resilience Insurance covers the NSW Waratahs Super Rugby Pacific squad and all the NSW Academy Pathway teams.

Both organisations regard it as a strengthening of a bond that began when Resilience Insurance joined the NSW Waratahs as a Platinum Partner for the 2025 season.

In that time the Resilience Insurance logo featured on the lower back of the jersey of NSW Waratahs Super Rugby Pacific squad.

Resilience Insurance Chief Executive Officer, Corey Nugent said: “We are thrilled to be taking our support of the NSW Waratahs to this new level as their Principal Partner.

“We are proud to have partnered with the NSW Waratahs this year, and to have contributed as we have to their success on field, and off field as rugby ambassadors.

“As Principal Partners, we are confident that their success will continue over the next three years, and in turn reflect the values that we hold as an organisation.”

Resilience Insurance Founder, Stefan Hicks said: “At Resilience Insurance we pride ourselves on work ethic, team commitment and the pursuit of optimal service.

“We saw that in the NSW Waratahs when we came on board this year but are now even more of the belief that these pillars or values are shared by both organisations.

“As Principal Partners, we are so excited about how this relationship will develop,”

NSW Waratahs Chairman Tony Crawford said: “We are excited about this extremely significant development in our relationship at NSW Waratahs with Resilience Insurance.

“To have Resilience Insurance lever their commitment at a time when we are also seeking to continue our upward trajectory as a rugby organisation reflects our synergy.

“These are exciting times for the NSW Waratahs after a year of regrowth on and off the field; and no doubt the support of Resilience Insurance will help us grow even further.”

Crawford also thanked the NSW Waratahs’ previous Principal Partner NRI, saying: “We thank NRI whose support helped us get to where we are – an organisation on the up.”
