The Victorian Labor Government, Victorian Liberal Party, Victorian Greens and One Nation have now confirmed their participation in the Victorian Housing Policy Debate, hosted by the Australian Property Developers Association (APDA).
With the Victorian election approaching, housing, planning, affordability and development will be among the major issues facing the next government. On Wednesday, 2 September, APDA will bring together senior political representatives at Crown Palladium to debate their policies and what they could mean for Victoria's housing future, giving attendees the chance to hear directly from the different sides before Victoria goes to the polls.
Tickets are available now, with an exclusive 10% discount using code APARTMENTS10 at checkout. Bring your colleagues, clients or industry partners and join the conversation about one of the biggest challenges facing Victoria.
Moderated by Michael Rowland.
There are different perspectives on how Victoria should tackle its housing challenges. What will each party do to increase housing supply? How will they approach planning and development? And what are their plans for housing affordability? The debate will also explore what these policies could mean for home buyers, renters, businesses, investors, the property industry and the broader Victorian community.
Housing affects all of us. The decisions made by the next government will influence not only how and where homes are delivered, but also affordability, investment, jobs, business confidence and Victoria's broader economy. This debate is an opportunity to hear the different perspectives side by side and better understand what each party is proposing for Victoria.
Whether you work in property and development, run a business, are trying to buy a home, invest, rent or simply care about where Victoria is heading, this is an important conversation to be part of.
Organisations after a bigger presence can purchase a supporting sponsor table of eight, which includes a reserved corporate table, the organisation's name displayed on the table, and logo recognition on screen at the event. Supporting sponsor tables are limited.
